A Faraway Place is a Pokemon Dressing Room, taking place in the fictional region of Ultern where characters get drifted into this strange isolated region disconnected from the rest of the world. How your character will fare in this brand new world is all up to you. Create new adventures, meet new people, and see new Pokemon while under the bright tropical sun of Ultern!

[So, primarily because Trip can be still be unexpectedly timid sometimes Trip's not keen on the idea of calling into a radio show, he's going to try and mention Ken instead... except he doesn't know his username either, so. It seems he'll have to ask around...]

T. @(ghostprince) posted: Does anyone know how to contact Ken from that radio show? Doesn't he have an account on here?

Second Post

[The question's also one others might have answers too, so he'll make two posts about it, shortly after one another! They're public peep Pippi posts, so everyone else can see them too!]

T. @(ghostprince) posted: Do any of you other drifted have an Ultern in your world? Or a similar place, even if it's not called by the same name?

[The (very new and nearly empty?) account's not very helpful in identifying him, the profile picture is scenery, although Serperior's silhouette might vaguely be recognizable in it, the location is "who wants to know?" and the bio is just a link to his Mimmeo... it might look suspicious or creepy, but it's rather unintentional!
He's just keeping a low profile and not really much of a Pippi user. His linked Mimmeo is definitely more active, although there's long stretches of inactivity (whenever he gets drifted home—two images are years apart, both during Tanabata? One at the festival proper, another aa cafe, enjoying a meal with a Yamask, it seems...), but it dates back at least three years, and has lots of photographs he's taken, although none are of himself. Just scenery, Pokemon (his own Unovan Pokemon and Ulternian ones he's seen, wild and trained), and quite a few of cafe desserts, and, more recently, and clumsy/modest attempts at cooking.]

Stardust Beach - Traveller

[A rather confused Trip might be found wandering the beach today! It seems he's drifted back in for the first time in a while (not counting his younger self who's been staying at the Professor's place)... well, at least he's already dressed for the beach, with a sun hat, (oversized, hiding nearly half his face) shades, capris, and a breezy (very orange) shirt! But, there's just one little problem...]

... have you seen my Frillish?

Pokemon Center - Takeover

[Nurse Emi was supposed to be off today, wasn't she? Yet, it seems she's come to work anyway! Quite the workaholic, isn't she? ... or is it her? She seems to be acting, well, strange...

She's lazily flung herself, ragdoll-like, as if she isn't quite sure what to do with her limbs, into a seat behind the desk and is rudely bossing around the Pokemon Nurses like a little despot! She didn't have to be here today, why is she being so mean?! Maybe she's not feeling well? It seems like nothing's good enough for her!

She isn't even really doing any work, she's mostly just... drinking jasmine tea. She's been drinking cup after cup of jasmine tea with no end in sight.]

Home - Trick

[Not at the beach or the Pokemon Center today? That's alright, a bored and mischievous Ghost type Pokemon could bring chaos and confusion to your home, too! Is that where you left that thing? Wait, who ate those treats you were saving? Are your Pokemon partners or other room mates mad at you and you have no idea why?]

[A Wild Manaphy encounter and Heartswapping with someone close by? Well there's no such shenanigans here on this fine day. The location is the Cafe within the Pokemon Center in Turnbloom City.

In the early hours of the morning the cafe has yet to open its doors to the guests. While the lights are on only Larson and his trusty partner Pokemon Blissey can be seen with two other people: Trip and Gold. As usual, Larson's as bright and cheerful like the rising Ulternian sun followed by an enthused fist pump.]

I'm so happy that you're both here today!

[Of course, it goes without saying that he'd be happy to see them both any other day as well--]

I'm sure Blissey feels the same as I do. Don't you, Blissey?

Bliss!

[Blissey replied with a smile.]

Okay, Trip since you have more experience than Gold here please keep an eye out if he needs any help. Ah, but don't you two worry. Blissey and I will keep an eye out for you too! [He'll place a hand onto his chest.] But I guarantee our customers are friendly, so there shouldn't be any problems I'd hope.

[Larson then paused clearly thinking of what else he should tell them.]

Ah, that's right if you have any questions at all let me know, okay? And don't worry about your lunches! Blissey and I will take care of that!

[A little later in the day -- the Cafe is running as usual! What is out of the ordinary however is the fact aside from Larson and his Blissey running the service both Trip and Gold clearly in uniform can be seen helping out as well. Anyone stepping in for a treat could be greeted by either of them, in fact!

Since it isn't too busy (and even if it was Larson certainly wouldn't mind) guests are free to have a chat with any of them. Just like the rest of Ultern the Cafe has a very cozy and carefree atmosphere to it.]

[WILD CARD!

Just stopping by the cafe for whatever reason? Or wanting to chat with other trainers here? Come up with your own prompt and have fun!]

(OOC: Feel free to start up your own thread or chat it up with [personal profile] serperiority, [personal profile] gold_drum or Larson--or all three of them!?)

Trip's sticking up flyers, apparently, as well as handing some out, advertising an odd assortment of skills, but he's also acting a bit shifty and has his hoodie up, like he doesn't want to be recognized.

"For hire.
Skills: photography, tracking, exorcism.
Prices negotiable.
